Hi! So a little about me, I was born in Atlanta, GA in September, so I am a virgo! I am 24 years old and have been shooting for about 8 years now. I absolutely love my job, but it was not easy getting here. I started off doing photography as a hobby when I was 16, not anticipating that it would go anywhere. Once I graduated high school, I went to Ole Miss to study psychology. I was, and am still, extremely passionate about mental health and raising awareness for it. In the sixth grade I was diagnosed with ADHD. I had struggled in school my whole life and by the time my sophomore year of college rolled around, did not feel a love for it anymore. I knew I needed to take a new, nontraditional path for my life, and thus, how I became a full time photographer today! Dropping out of college and building a new business all on my own was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I don't regret a second of it. This love and passion I have for my career is what drives me to work hard everyday. Though it has been far from easy, I am lucky to have amazing friends and family who support my path! Photography to me does not feel like a job, rather, it is an opportunity to meet incredible people and hear their stories, while helping them realize their beauty and see their potential. I have been able to mix my two passions and seeing that unfold everyday... well I couldn't ask for more.
1) I have a german shepherd named Cove.
2) I love to play tennis and kickbox in my free time.
3) I just moved to Austin, TX!
4) I love going to the airport by myself! I feel so free and alive.
5) My favorite food is sushi and I can't go more than like 2 weeks without it.
6) Traveling is such a love of mine, but I am a homebody at heart.
7) My friends, family, and my dog are what I am most grateful for.
8) Driving in the fall with the windows down and music up is my absolute favorite thing.
9) I am obsessed with cool sneakers and spend way too much money on them.
10) Sloths are my favorite animal and my life goal is to hold one.
Cove (pictured left) and Heidi (pictured right) are my dogs! Heidi unfortunately passed away but will forever be remembered. I rescued Cove about 2 years ago from a shelter, when I lived in Mississippi, and she has easily been one of the best additions to my adult life. She is incredibly intelligent, and picks up on new skills quickly. Heidi, was actually from Germany, and seeing as she was quite posh, she was trained in German! They have been with me throughout life's ups and downs, and I am incredibly lucky that they are in my life!
